Though Nine Days Wonder are typically considered Krautrock, it seems like they have more going on that just that. In fact, in certain songs there is barely even a trace of Krautrock (particularly on Only the Dancers in general). It sounds like a mixture of the glam of David Bowie (who the vocalist sounds eerily similar to on some tracks) and the psychedelic work of Amon Duul II. Except for one track on each album, gone are Krautrock's lengthy tracks in favor of tracks around the 5 minute mark or shorter.
